Tasting Notes
Without omitting or adding any adjectives
to its description, we could accurately say that LA
GUITA is a sublime and long wine,
elegant and diaphanous, delicate and tender, fragile and distinguished.
Lemon golden yellow. Clear and fresh on the nose, aromas indicating
a very good biological ageing, crystallized fruit, wild and floral notes,
dried fruit (almond). On the palate light, tasty, enveloping, fresh
and persistent. Aromatic in the retronasal passage, where the excellent
aromas of the nose are reproduced.
Serving temperature:
Between
7º – 9º C
|
| It was commonly considered
that the perfect accompaniment for LA GUITA
was limited to the aperitif, given that it is ideal for accompanying
olives, fries, ham… and it is, of course, a magnificent aperitif!
But the real wine connoisseurs and gastronomy experts are well aware
that LA GUITA can accompany a great
variety of dishes.
It goes extraordinarily well with any type of seafood. With oysters
and clams, both raw and cooked… which bring out the best flavours
and aromas in the shellfish and LA GUITA.
With fresh vegetable salads and tinned fish, not to mention pickled
dishes! Any dish that contains vinegar, although a challenge for other
types of wines, is a great ally of LA GUITA.
It also goes surprisingly well with Japanese tempura, ceviches and fish
and seafood cocktails.
It is a pleasure for the palate to savour it with salmon, sea bream
or turbot, in addition to white meat and seafood rice. In fact, discover
a luxury of sensations for the palate accompanying LA
GUITA with caviar.
Imagination knows no bounds.
